Job Description
As a Project Engineer under the Marine service line at WEE SENG MARINE & ENGINEERING PTE. LTD., your responsibilities include conducting quality checks, preparing accurate reports, and delivering customized results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working in workshops and vessels
- Effective communication with Ship Owners and Superintends
- Strong time management and ability to work independently
- Managing interactions with vendors, designers, classification, and flag statutory bodies regarding engineering issues
- Reviewing technical specifications and drawings to meet owner, class, and customer requirements
- Performing additional duties assigned by superiors
- Demonstrating cost-saving measures
- Leading and managing project operations, schedules, and specifications
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Marine Industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Proficiency in AutoCAD application
- Ability to work overtime (OT)
- Excellent coordination skills
- Able to work at heights
- Positive working attitude
