Job Description

Duties

  • Developing, implementing, and managing quality control measures and processes to ensure that products meet quality specifications of Japan customer.
  • Contribute to root-cause analyses of Japan customer complaints, providing quality assessments and proposing solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Determining quality specification issues raised from the Japan customer and proposing the solution to the customer.
  • Recommend systematic measures and initiatives to enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with various departments, customers, suppliers, and government regulatory bodies both in Singapore and internationally to prioritize quality within the company.
  • Develop and revise the quality assurance framework for the company and modify and improve the existing production standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) when necessary.
  • Ensure food safety, quality-related, and non-compliance issues are investigated and that corrective measures are implemented and adhered to.
  • Submit the product specifications to HQ via the Japan version when required.
  • Update the specification analytical when required by HQ.
  • Supervise a team of staff to direct departmental goals and plans.

Requirements

  • Degree in Food Science & Technology or any relevant qualification.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in food manufacturing.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
