Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Microbiologist to join our team as a QC Specialist. As a QC Specialist (Microbiologist), your primary responsibility will be to conduct quality control tests on our products to ensure they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
You will be responsible for performing microbial analysis, including but not limited to, microbiological sampling, cultivation, identification, and enumeration. You must possess extensive knowledge of microbiological techniques and possess the ability to interpret test results accurately.
In addition to laboratory work, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, research and development, and regulatory affairs to address any quality-related concerns and implement appropriate corrective actions. Excellent communication skills are paramount.
To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience working in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or food industry. Having experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and laboratory quality management systems is essential.
