Job Description
We are currently seeking a Safety Superintendent (Bunker Tankers) to join our team. As a Safety Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of safety standards are maintained in our bunker tanker operations. You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations and guidelines applicable to bunker tanker operations.
- Assess potential hazards and risks, and develop preventive measures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide safety training and awareness programs to crew members.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a deep understanding of shipping industry safety standards and regulations, as well as experience working in bunker tanker operations. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
