Job Description
Objectives of the position
A highly skilled and experienced senior Accountant, She/he would be able demonstrate a proven record in dealing with daily finance operation as well as in analysis. Play a crucial role in the preparation of monthly closing, tax declarations and General Accounting.
Job Description
- Manage full spectrum of Finance & Accounting Function. Responsible for general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, Fixed Asset and general ledger.
- Ensure a timely and accurate financial month end closing and reporting.
- Review and approve Journals & Bank and Account reconciliation.
- Liaise with external Auditors, tax agents and secretaries, facilitating timely completion of statutory requirements and audits.
- Oversee tax reporting responsibilities, including quarterly GST filings and annual reporting.
- Monitor Cashflow position/ projection and recommend funding activities.
- Manage and mentor a small Team (2 to 3 staffs).
- Any other adhoc duties assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification.
- Candidate with at least 10 years working experience in Financial Accounting.
- Hands on and experience in transactional Accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and has experience/ Knowledge on IBM Cognos.
- Super user in SAP FI module with good Knowledge of SAP-CO would be highly preferred.
- Experience in setting up Shared Service Centre is a plus.
- Mature personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Preferable with Exposure in both family business and public companies or German Company.
- Ability to work independently with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
