Job Description
This position is for PaxOcean Group, a company under Kuok (Singapore) Limited.
Position Summary
Independently develop hull design including hull outfit to comply with Class and Technical specification requirements within assigned schedule.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering the respective project design drawing and document according to project plan schedule.
- Liaise with Owner/ Vendor for the specific design requirement
- Perform naval architecture calculations such as stability/hydrostatic, weight distribution, launching
- Prepare detailed compartment layouts, space coordination, and integration with other disciplines.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors for interpretation of the drawings and specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the marine/offshore industry Hull & Outfitting newbuilding engineering design.
- Familiar with AutoCAD/ MS Office/GHS/NAPA/FEMAP
- Good communication, analytical skills, technologies savvy
