Job Description
The Senior Firmware Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining firmware solutions for embedded systems. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful product delivery. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in firmware development, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Understand customer requirements, analyze and propose technical solutions.
- Create the Epic/Stories in Jira and track the team’s activities regularly.
- Develop and manage a project schedule and work plan.
- Demonstrate solid competence in technologies, tools, and methods in firmware development.
- Understand the legacy embedded SW architecture of the product and drive the porting activity.
- Firmware development process and integration.
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
- Effectively communicate with customers and other stakeholders.
- Have a good sense of quality and work towards delivering quality products on time.
Skills:
- Good experience in C, C++ Programming, RTOS, ThreadX, Linux.
- Expert in C and C++ Programming.
- Experience in firmware development in Linux environment & RTOS.
- Experience in firmware with ThreadX or Linux.
- Knowledge of Embedded design concepts, processor architectures, ARM Cortex, Memory management.
- Good debugging experience and proficient in handling debuggers.
- Should have experience with tools like Jira, Git, Github.
