Company
Our Client is a leading proprietary trading firm that is renowned for hiring some of the best technologists in the country to capture financial markets opportunities. They provide google style working conditions with the fiscal benefits of working in financial markets. Due to ongoing growth, they require a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to join their infrastructure team in Singapore.
Role
You will be responsible for designing and deploying automation, deployment, monitoring and configuration tools for cutting-edge, high performance trading systems infrastructure and live production systems. In addition, you’ll play an integral role in growing DevOps culture across development and operational teams.
Requirements:
- 8 years’ experience in DevOps Management in high-performance environments.
- Experience with global infrastructure setups of 200+ servers.
- Have a strong Linux (CentOS/RHEL/fedora) base and be comfortable developing in Python.
- Experience with Configuration Management tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Icinga, Sensu.
- Experience with cloud providers like GCP, AWS, Azure.
- Polished Communication and Interpersonal skills along with a can-do attitude.
- A history of good tenure in your career history (e.g., 4+ years average).
- Bachelor’s, master’s or PhD level degree in computer science or mathematics.
- Experience within a high performance, low latency dependant environment such as financial markets (highly desirable).
This role would be suited for someone with a Linux aligned, DevOps background with the ability to script/code in Python and experience or an interest in financial markets.
