Job Description
What the role is
As a member of the ANS (Air Navigation Services) Systems Programme Office, you will support the management of the next generation ANS systems programme. You will collaborate with stakeholders to oversee implementation, including programme planning and control, programme scheduling, risk and change management, and processes/workflows development.
What you will be working on
You will play a key role in assessing proposals in consideration of operational, technical and capability requirements, as well as overseeing system architecture and system integration at programme level. You are also expected to develop and execute plans and interventions to ensure the success of the programme, and to perform management reporting and provide staffing support for meetings.
What we are looking for
- Trained in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent preferred
- Relevant experience in managing complex and large-scale projects. Certification in project management will be an advantage
- Good understanding of government ICT policies and standards, system architecture, and technology stack
- Working proficiency in MS Project, data analysis, and visualization tools
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills to influence and drive win-win outcomes with stakeholders
- Familiarity with Air Traffic Management, Communications/Navigation/Surveillance systems, aviation safety will be an advantage
Your appointment designation will commensurate with relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for placement on permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
