Job Description
A Service Technician (Photocopier) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of photocopier machines in various settings. They perform routine checks, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide excellent customer service.
This role requires strong knowledge of photocopier machines, including their components and operation principles. Service Technicians must have exceptional problem-solving skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team. They should possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and provide detailed explanations of the repair process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing photocopier machines and configuring settings to meet customer requirements.
- Performing routine maintenance, including cleaning, inspecting, and replacing parts as needed.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, both hardware and software-related.
- Repairing or replacing faulty components and conducting necessary tests to ensure proper functioning.
- Providing technical support and guidance to customers, addressing concerns and answering questions.
Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with relevant certification or training in photocopier machine repair. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
