Job Description
A shipping coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of shipping operations within an organization. This includes preparing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and labeling, coordinating with carriers, and tracking shipping progress to ensure timely delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing shipping documents, such as bills of lading and packing lists
- Coordinating with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Ensuring shipments comply with relevant regulations and guidelines
- Tracking shipments and providing updates to stakeholders
- Resolving any issues or discrepancies related to shipments
