Job Description
A Specification Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of product specifications for a company. They work closely with various departments including sales, marketing, and production to ensure that products meet the required specifications and standards.
The main tasks of a Specification Manager include:
- Developing and reviewing product specifications based on customer requirements and industry standards
- Coordinating with the production team to ensure that products are manufactured according to the specifications
- Collaborating with the marketing team to create accurate product descriptions and marketing materials
- Working closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide technical support
- Updating and maintaining the specification database to ensure accuracy and accessibility of information
The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of product specifications and quality standards. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is usually required.
