Job Description

As a Student Mentor, you will be working closely with primary school children and make a positive difference in their lives. Your key responsibilities include:

• Executing day to day operations in the centre
• Ensuring safety and well-being of the children at all times
• Providing guidance and supervising children in their school and other academic assignments
• Coaching and testing children for their school spellings
• Conducting in-house enrichment curriculum with quality
• Building a positive and respectful relationship with the children
• Fostering good partnerships with parents
• Managing and guiding children to develop positive habits and mannerisms
• Planning and organising holiday activities or special events for the children during school holidays
• Other related duties as assigned by the Centre Supervisor or Manager

Requirements:

• Passionate in reaching out and empowering primary school children
• Ability to manage a group of 10 to 18 children using positive management strategies
• Ability to coach or guide children in their academic assignments
• Enjoys working in a high-energy and dynamic environment
• Has good interpersonal skills and is a good team player
• Independent, observant, organised, responsible and takes initiative
• Open to learning new skills and be trained
• Minimum GCE “O” level and above
• Some relevant working experience preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary

Salary: From $1,600.00 per month

Expected hours: 32.5 – 37.5 per week
