Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Reply to client emails promptly and professionally.
- Source the best price and provide accurate quotes to clients.
- Follow up on the status of quotations with clients.
- Proceed with orders using the company’s system.
- Send purchase orders to vendors.
- Prepare necessary documents for the warehouse team.
- Coordinate with the operation team to ensure timely order delivery.
- Handle return items, if any.
- Assist the finance team in resolving document-related issues, if necessary.
- Contact suppliers to negotiate prices.
- Collaborate with all relevant departments in a team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience in the ship chandler industry is preferred.
