Job Description
A Tube Fitter is responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining tube systems in various industries such as manufacturing, automotive, and construction. This role involves working with different types of materials, including metal or plastic, to build and repair tubes and pipe systems.
Main responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine tube layout and configuration.
- Cut, bend, and shape tubes using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Weld or solder tubes together to ensure a secure and leak-free connection.
- Inspect tubes and identify defects or damages for repair or replacement.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on tube systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tube Fitter or similar role in the relevant industry.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent knowledge of tube fitting techniques and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
